Hey devs! 👋

We're thrilled to announce that Mood Metrics API just landed on Zapier — making it even easier to weave real-time sentiment analysis into your favorite apps and workflows. No more custom code for every integration; just point, click, and let the emotions flow.

If you've been waiting for a seamless way to connect sentiment insights to tools like Airtable, Slack, Google Sheets, or hundreds of others, this is for you.

Why Zapier + Mood Metrics is a Game-Changer

Zapier lets you automate workflows (Zaps) without writing a single line of code. Now, with our official integration, you can:

  • Trigger actions based on sentiment — Send a Slack alert when customer feedback turns negative.

  • Enrich your data automatically — Analyze incoming form responses or support tickets and store sentiment scores in Airtable or your CRM.

  • Build no-code dashboards — Pipe review text into Google Sheets, add sentiment columns, and watch trends emerge.

  • React in real-time — Use webhooks to capture new social mentions, run them through Mood Metrics, and route high-emotion items to the right team.

The integration is simple, reliable, and built on the same fast, accurate sentiment engine you already know.

Getting Started in Minutes

  1. Head to the integration page → Mood Metrics API on Zapier

  2. Connect your Mood Metrics account — You'll just need your RapidAPI key (grab one here if you don't have it yet).

  3. Create your first Zap — Choose "Analyze Sentiment" as the action. Pass in any text field from your trigger app, and get back the full breakdown: sentiment label, score, primary emotions, and rationale.

  4. Map the results anywhere — Use the output in filters, formatters, or downstream actions.

For Example

  • Webhooks → Mood Metrics → Slack (instant negativity alerts)

  • Typeform or Google Forms → Mood Metrics → Airtable (sentiment-enriched responses)

  • RSS or social feeds → Mood Metrics → ActiveCampaign (tag contacts by mood)

A Quick Example Zap Idea

Imagine you're monitoring product reviews:

  • Trigger: New row in Google Sheets (with a "Review Text" column)

  • Action: Mood Metrics API → Analyze Sentiment

  • Follow-up: If sentimentScore > 0.5 → Create Trello card in "Urgent Feedback" list + notify team in Slack

Boom — emotional spikes caught early, every time.

What's Next?

We're just getting started with integrations. Zapier opens the door to thousands of apps, and we're eager to hear which connections you'd love to see prioritized (or any tweaks to make this even smoother).

As always, your ideas shape the roadmap — anomaly detection, trend signals, batch processing, and more are still cooking based on your earlier feedback!

Let's Hear From You!
